Abilene, Texas (KRBC) - Coleman High School is helping their students get their start early in broadcast with their first ever production class.  Becky Hohmann, the teacher who started the program says the class has thirteen students.

"They  have come a long way," said Hohmann.

They are developing a nose for news.

"They started in late August not really knowing a lot at all about this so we have spent a lot of time watching professional do the news and learning to write and learning law and ethics and learning broadcast terms so we can all speak the same language," said Hohmann.

The students do everything.

"We change it up, we edit, we film, we do everything," said Digna Diaz, a junior in the class.
